Warsaw School of Economics - EMLE Program

Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), established in 1906 as the Private Courses of Commerce for Men. It is the oldest university of economics in Poland and one of the leading univiersities of economics in Europe. Every year about two thousand aluni graduate from the SGH. Statistically, every third economist in the 20th century was an alumnus of the SGH.

Education at SGH is appreciated by students, employers and accreditation institutions. The career path developed in cooperation with Ernst&Young was awarded with the prestigious ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) certificate. Two faculties – Quantitative Methods in Economics and Information Systems as well as Finance and Accounting – were distinguished by the Polish Accreditation Committee. Such a distinction may be granted to a given faculty at only one school in the country.
