Application Instructions

Applicants to the LL.M. in American Law Program, the Graduate Program in Banking and Financial Law, the LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law Program, the Executive LL.M. in International Business Law Program, the Graduate Tax Program or our Two-Year LL.M. Program must apply via the Law School Admissions Council (LSAC) online application form.

LSAC Credential Assembly Service and International Transcript Authentication and Evaluation Service

Applicants planning to use the LSAC electronic application must use the LSAC Credential Assembly Service. Applicants using the Boston University online application may also elect to use the LSAC Credential Assembly Service, which is currently available for all Boston University LL.M. programs. Applicants who do not use the LSAC Credential Assembly Service must submit items by mail directly to the LL.M. Admissions Office.

Internationally-educated students are strongly encouraged to register for LSAC's International Transcript Authentication and Evaluation Service.  For an additional fee of $125, LSAC will authenticate and evaluate your transcripts and distribute them to the schools to which you wish to apply.

Tuition and Fees

The student budget, or cost of attendance, is an estimation of the total cost of attending the School of Law during the nine-month academic year, including living and personal expenses. The total budget is also the maximum amount of financial aid students may receive, including university scholarships, student loans, resident assistantships, work-study, and any aid from other outside sources.
