YOUR TASKS:

Key activites:

• Building a consistent reporting system of risks and incidents ;
• Providing support to other departments of the company on internal risk related subjects ;
• Keeping pace with new regulations ;
• Performing daily controls in accordance with latest risk assessments and controls designed o the products in their scope ;
• Client credit limits : Credit checks, yearly review of credit checks for all cliens ;
• Generating viewpoints on complex cases for management review ;
• Creating and submitting Risk Committes to the management.

Risk reporting:

• Preparation of risk assessments on business line as requested by the risk and compliance manager ;
• Drafting of monthly risk reports ;
• Process third party inquiries and propose responses to the risk and compliance manager.

YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of financial products and risk management (operational risk, intermediary risk, market risk, prudential risk) ;
• Knowledge in progamming (VBA, Microsoft, Power BI, Sharepoint) ;
• Awareness of risk and control issues ;
• Business school or university graduate with a major in risk management in finance ;
• Regularlyand consistently communicates with his direct reports on progress ;
• Independent, reliable, very rigorous ;
• Fast learner, good communications skills ;
• Fluent in French and English ;
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels in the organisation.

Key Performance Indicators: 

• Progress of projects assigned by the risk and control Manager ;
• Reliability of reporting and work prepared ;
• Efficiency of communication ;
• Capacity to handle an increasing number of issues independent.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS:
Between 2 and 3 rounds of interviews (both fit and technical questions).
