Ivan Presant and Jeffrey Meyers joined the New York corporate and transactional group as partners, both from other major law firms. Mr. Meyers focuses on large-scale energy transactions and financing in the Americas and Caribbean and said that McDermott provides “a bigger platform, one with more resources for my clients.” Mr. Presant emphasizes public target M&A and private equity work and praised the Firm’s “creative thinking [for] establishing and innovating new ways of partnering with the clients, rather than being an on-call legal provider.”
