Cologne – The specialist publishing house JUVE distributed the azur Awards in Cologne on 16 February 2017. The renowned legal publishing house distinguished Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft as the best employer in the category of "Internship & Traineeship". Each year, the publisher honours employers who stand out through their special commitment to promoting young legal talent with the azur Awards. The jury's decision is based on results from the annual azur survey of applicants and associates as well as hard facts concerning new hires and salaries.
"We are proud that Luther was distinguished in the important category of Internship & Traineeship this year", says Markus Sengpiel, CoManaging Partner at Luther. "We are also proud of the nomination in the category of Professional Training and Continuing Education. The distinction and the nomination equally demonstrate the quality of our offerings, as the azur editorial department does not make its decision based solely upon professional education. Rather, criteria such as practical relevance of continuing education and individual support during training are also determinative." In its explanatory statement, the jury emphasised that the law office has for many years seen to the support of young talent and has continuously developed the available offerings.
