Master of Laws (LL.M.) in American Law

LL.M. Programme Eligibility Requirements

  • Master of Laws or an equivalent first degree in law degree received, or reasonably expected to be received before the CUA LL.M degree is conferred, from a university outside the United States or Canada (Students in their final year of Polish law studies may commence the LL.M. prior to completion of their magister degree. The Polish law school thesis defense must take place before commencement of the final component of the program.)
  • Proficiency in English demonstrated by submission of a satisfactory TOEFL score (paper-based TOEFL: 587, computer-based: 240, internet-based: 94) or equivalent certification, e.g., Cambridge certificates, prior degree in an English-speaking program. Please contact the program if you wish to use other types of documentation of English language proficiency.
  • Selection based upon credentials submitted in the application

You can earn an American LL.M. degree while studying in two cities: Krakow (Poland) and Washington D.C. The cooperating Universities offer a curriculum for ambitious European lawyers.
