Application Requirements

  • Complete LL.M. Application
  • Complete a First Degree in Law from an Institution Outside of the U.S.
  • Submit Two Letters of Recommendation
  • Submit a Current Curriculum Vitae
  • Submit Official Transcripts from All Colleges, Universities, and Law Schools Attended 
  • Submit Proof of English Language Proficiency

You will study Civil Law in the Civil Code jurisdiction of Louisiana (like many European, Latin American & Middle Eastern jurisdictions) and  Common Law (like all other U.S. states, and in the U.K., Canada, Australia & throughout the Commonwealth).


LL.M. students can also qualify to sit for the New York (common law), Louisiana (civil law) & other U.S. bar exams.
