LLM Professionnal Legal Practice

Admission

  • This Programme is available to BPP students only. In order to qualify you must have completed BPP’s LPC, BPTC or BVC.
  • You have five years from the start of your LPC and BPTC to complete the full Masters Degree programme.
  • You should have completed all LPC or BPTC (BVC) assessments before you start your research.

Programme

The method of assessment is:

  • 2 x Practice-based assessments or
  • 1 x Practice-based assessment, memorandum of advice and examination

Research Project:

You have 15 weeks to complete each research project and you can choose different study approaches depending on your time and circumstances:

  • Complete two research projects at the same time
  • Complete your research project at the same time as a taught module
  • Complete one at a time, at your own pace

Taught Modules: 

You can choose from a number of taught modules (all 30 credits each):

  • Advanced Corporate Law
  • Business Organisations Law
  • Business Tax Law
  • International and Comparative Tax Law
  • Chinese Business Law
  • Chinese Finance and Investment Law
  • Chinese Public Law and Human Rights
  • Commercial Law
  • Comparative Commercial Law
  • Corporate Finance Law
  • Law Relating to Financial Transactions
  • Financial Regulation and Compliance
  • Fraud and Financial Crime
  • Investigation Law and Practice
  • International Business Law
  • Islamic Finance Law
  • Islamic Business Law
  • UK and International Banking Law
  • Corporate Securities Law
  • Transnational Criminal Justice Law
