Entry requirements & application

  • To be eligible for admission to our LLM, you must hold a UK undergraduate degree or international equivalent. We recommend that non-law graduates have a basic grounding in common law. Qualifications will be checked before the LLM is awarded.
  • You must have a sufficient command of English to complete the course successfully. If your first language is not English you must have the British Council IELTS level 6.5 or above in all subjects, if you wish to study the LLM via the i-LLM programme. If you wish to study the full-time LLM in London you must have IELTS level 7.0 or above in all subjects.
