LLM in Health Law and Ethics

Application

  • You will need a good degree in Law (2.2 or above) or, an honours degree in another discipline plus either the CPE or GDL conversion qualification.
  • Applicants from other disciplines will be welcomed in appropriate circumstances, particularly if they have experience in the area, even if not as lawyers.
  • English language requirements : IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 83 or an equivalent language qualification.

Students examine general principles such as Consent to Treatment together with more specialist areas such as the Medical Use of the Human Body and Legal Issues at the Beginning and Ending of Life. Where appropriate, material on ethics the impact of the Human Rights Act and European and International matters will be incorporated.
