LLM in European Business Law

Programme

European Business Law is a two year programme, but students have the possibility to write a master thesis at the end of the first year and then finish the programme with a one year degree.

Core courses in the 2-year and 1-year programmes:
  • EU Constitutional Law
  • Principles of European Business Law
  • Internal Market Law
  • EU Competition Law
  • Argumentation and Methodology
  • Master's Thesis

Elective courses in the 2-year programme concerns areas including Intellectual Property Law, Tax Law, Moot Court, Environmental Protection, Trade and Markets.

Application

At least a 3-year Bachelor's degree in law (LL.B. or equivalent).

Supporting documents:
  • Cover sheet
  • Certificates and diplomas from previous studies at an internationally recognised higher education institution (university or university college)
  • Transcripts of completed courses and grades for each semester (including course list)
  • Proof of English language skills
  • Statement of purpose 
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Proof that you meet the specific admission requirements 
  • Copy of the page in your passport with your personal data and photograph, or some other identification document

Tuition Fees

  • There are no tuition fees for EU/EEA citizens. 
  • For non EU/EEA citizens the tuiton fee for this programme is SEK 130 000 per year
