LL.M. for international lawyers

Program

The Illinois LL.M. program is designed to introduce international students to the U.S. legal system while also providing the opportunity for concentration in their own area of academic or professional interest. Concentrations include:


  • Business, Corporate and Banking Law
  • Criminal Law and Procedure
  • Employment and Labor Law
  • Environmental Law
  • Intellectual Property and Technology Law
  • International Law
  • Tax Law

  • Completed Application, using the LSAC LL.M. Application or the University of Illinois Graduate College Application
  • Application Fee (waived for academic year 2015-2016)
  • Résumé
  • Statement of Purpose
  • Certified Transcripts and Credentials
  • Declaration of Finances and supporting documentation
  • Two Letters of Reference
  • TOEFL or IELTS score reported from ETS or IELTS
  • Copy of Passport Page
