  • People who are involved because of their education or their professional image with the artistic and cultural rights. These comprise lawyers, but also art historians and other
  • Employees of companies with respect to the field of arts and culture. These include museums, galleries, theaters, auction houses, festivals, as well as insurance, banking, and advocacy.


Conditions


  • First completed high school education or
  • At least three years of professional experience in the field of art and culture
  • Very good knowledge of German
  • Written application (incl. Writing about the motivation to participate and expectations of the certificate course)

Curriculum

Art law is the protection and maintenance of cultural, intellectual and moral rights of the artist, but also trade and economy on interdisciplinary and transnational level, which will give this certificate course. Students receive a broad knowledge of art law issues with strong links to the legal and business practice. The individual modules are each dedicated to a large central theme to showcase the latest developments and international experts to discuss from different disciplines. In addition to the legal aspects of economic, cultural and political and art historical aspects are equally play a role.
