As part of the Contracts team within OVH Group's Legal Department, your role covers both procurement and sales contracts, supporting the more senior team members with their projects for the purchasing department and the sales force. The job of the Contracts team is to secure and protect OVH's interests in its relations with partners (suppliers, subcontractors, customers, partners, etc.) in the development and execution of OVH's various business segments worldwide (excluding the USA).

 

Descriptif du poste


In an international context, in collaboration with other OVH lawyers and external advisers, your mission will consist in:

  • Analysis, drafting and negotiation of all types of contracts for the purchase or sale of goods and services;
  • OVH sales contracts are either web-based or fully-negotiated deals with large clients: you will play a part in both channels
  • Standardization of contract documentation (policies, playbooks, responsibility matrix, specifications, specific clauses, etc.);
  • Research concerning implementation of OVH contracts in the various jursidictions in which we operate
  • Horizon scanning for changes of law or regulation that affect our business
  • Contribute to the development of tools, organizational methods and internal processes to capture know-how and industrialize the contracting process;
  • Setting up internal legal processes and communications;
  • Awareness and training of operating teams (sales people, project managers, buyers, etc.) in legal issues, processes and policies;
  • Document and contract management.

  

Profil recherché


Your skills

  • Strong basis in contract law, ideally common law and civil law
  • Ability to work in conjunction with our DPO team regarding data protection issues
  • Strong interest in IT/telecoms, internet law, data
  • Fluent written and spoken English, 3rd language appreciated
  • Precise, organized, efficient and able to manage your time effectively
  • Excellent communication (oral and written)
  • Quick to build good relationships with colleagues
  • Rigour and keen sense of ethics
  • Sense of initiative, ability to innovate and challenge our existing ways of working
  • Adaptable to change, agile

Your experience ?

  • Bac +5 business law education
  • Double degree (LLM or business school) appreciated
  • Exposure to legal technology would be a plus
  • 1-2 years work experience, especially in a start-up or young business, is a plus
