Our highly successful tax department, led by Me. Alain Steichen, keeps up with an impressive growth trajectory and is therefore looking for an Experienced lawyer to support our Tax team.

This role requires a talented lawyer to work on a wide range of high value and often complex matters while meeting tight deadlines.

The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following functions :

• Reinforce our team and advise our international and local clients in a wide range of tax issues;
• Provide tailor-made tax advice and pragmatic solutions as well as participate in large transactions advising multi-nationals, financial institutions, corporations and High Net Worth Individuals on tax and VAT issues;
• Advise clients on tax structuring in transactions including: disposals, acquisitions and joint ventures; tax planning including: inward and outward investment, holding and financing structures and group reorganisations; tax audits and litigation; VAT; the creation of all forms of collective investment vehicles; transfer pricing; structured financial products including: securitisation and tax enhanced debt financing.

• 5 to 6 years’ experience, including some in Luxembourg and the CCDL (Cours Complémentaire de Droit Luxembourgeois) is requested;
• A university degree in law, ideally completed by a LLM or by a post graduate degree;
• A perfect command of English and French is required, Luxembourgish and German are an asset;
• You have a good knowledge of accounting principles; 
• Although all tax profiles are welcome, this opportunity is best suited to someone with a laywer’s tax background who is looking to maintain this focus;
• You are a team player and able to work both independently and as part of a team;
• You are professional, dedicated and rigorous and possess significant organisational skills and the ability to manage heavy work load in a timely manner.
