We are looking for a talented lawyer / Associate Corporate Counsel in our Clichy offices (France) to support our rapidly growing business. You will serve as the primary lawyer responsible for advising the business on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters and drafting and negotiating commercial transactions.

You will work directly with the business, serving as lead counsel on strategic deals, providing day-to-day advice, resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships, handling complex pre-litigation and litigation disputes, inquiries and regulatory matters, and the creation and implementation of notice and take down processes.

You must have excellent organizational skills and be a strong written and verbal communicator, with great attention to detail.

You will need to be able to work independently and efficiently, manage high volumes of tasks and projects and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick response, in a constantly changing and sometimes ambiguous environment.

The successful candidate will need to possess common sense, great judgment, and a sense of humor.

This position involves direct contact with business owners and external parties.

Descriptif du poste

· Management of complex litigation matters
· Negotiation, drafting and review of commercial agreements,
· Support notice and take down processes
· Analysis of regulatory matters
· Maintain status reports as well as process documentation
· Proactive planning and implementation of legal programs and improvements to support and protect the business
· Train internal teams
· Coordinate other legal and administrative matters as required within the Legal group

Profil recherché

Basic Qualifications:
· Outstanding academic qualification (France strongly preferred)
· Admitted to practice as an attorney (France strongly preferred)
· At least 3 years legal or compliance experience at a global company or one of the top law firms, preferably with some portion of that experience in commercial transactions and/or litigation
· Excellent French and English skills in writing and spoken that include the ability to draft and negotiate contracts

Preferred Qualifications:
· Hands-on project management experience, including excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage a large number and variety of mission-critical projects, working independently and often in ambiguous environments
· Sound and practical business judgment as well as common sense
· Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
· A team player and consensus builder with great people skills and a good sense of humor who can effectively and efficiently collaborate and build relationships with attorneys and business clients at all levels throughout the organization
· Highest standards of ethics and professional integrity
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as demonstrated proficiency in working closely with and advising senior executives of an organization
